Graying Pubic hair – Traumatic Experience or Not?

Graying Pubic Hair
Spotting the first gray hairs on your intimate parts can be a traumatic experience.

Spotting the first gray hairs on your intimate parts can be a traumatic experience. Before you start to pluck them with tweezers, you should know that they are a normal occurrence that comes with age.

“As the hair turns gray and becomes thinner with age, the same happens with pubic hair,” says Sejal Shah, a dermatologist in New York.

“We all know that your pubic hair becomes gray, but exactly when that happens in a person’s life can vary. It depends on genes. It is not necessarily the case that your pubic hair will become gray the same time the hair on your head does”, explains Dr. Shah.

One study found that smokers are 2 to 5 times more likely to become gray earlier than non-smokers.

Do you know what kind of waxing Bikini is healthiest?

According to research published in the British Journal of Dermatology, about 23 percent of the population has 50 percent of gray in their hair by the age of 50. “Those who feel their hair is grayer than it should be should consider that this may be due to a lack of vitamin B12. It could also be caused by a malfunction of the thyroid or pituitary gland,” says Shah.

Great wish 🙂

Since the gray hairs (upper and lower), are mainly a matter of genetics, it is difficult, but not impossible to delay the inevitable. Shah says that the first step that can be taken smoking cessation: “One study found that smokers are 2 to 5 times more likely to become gray earlier than non-smokers. Nutritional supplements such as vitamin B12, selenium and iodine could also help but you should consult a doctor before you decide to take them. ” Of course, if you don’t want to go with the natural course of things, or end up completely plucked, there are dyes for “hair down there”. You could always try those!
